This assessment will gather information about
individual student performance in literacy
(reading and writing) and mathematics/mathématiques.
The results will provide:
• teachers with information to inform instructional planning;
• parents and guardians with information on
their child’s performance;
• the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and the school system with
information to inform educational decisions.
The assessment will be administered on four mornings between May 16 and May 27, 2022.
